To all hands:
It is with deep regret, one of Perry's finest,
Capt. Jim Sheppard has taken his Final Voyage on August 2008.
Jim will be logged into our 'gone but not forgotten' Perry
memorial register and will be remembered at our next Memorial
Service when we pay tribute to all Perry shipmates passing since
our last reunion. Capt. Sheppard’s photo can be viewed along
with other Perry Skippers on our website.

As befitting a true sailor, Captain Sheppard
was buried at sea from aboard the USS Germantown out of San Diego.
