To all hands having had the privilege to know Dick Linden, 53-56 DK3 With regrets, one of Perry's finest, Dick Linden has taken
his Final Voyage on November 10, 2017. I’m proud to say,
Dick ranks high among our most gallant Perry shipmates. As many
of us did, we first As we all do at our reunions, Dick enjoyed reminiscing and sharing the sea stories of his ship's cruises to London, Egypt, Turkey and Greece. I know Dick will be attending our next reunion in spirit when he will be remembered at our reunion Memorial Service. What a wonderful guy! He may be temporarily gone but will ‘never be forgotten'. Fair winds and smooth sailing our friend. We’re gonna miss you man. of our ship's reunions. Within seconds the warmth of this wonderful
guy was discovered and the bond of his friendship would continue
to grow as it did with everyone he met. Dick truly loved the
Perry and every one of us associated with it.
